Office Assistant Subbing

Assisting in school offices (15 campuses) when Office Manager, Office Assistant, or Health Office personnel are absent. Office sub jobs also available at the District Office. Shifts are 8hrs (730am-4pm)...must have the ability to work an 8hr shift!! Sometimes there is no advanced notice and you find out about your shift the morning of the assignment at 6am. School offices are extremely busy...must have prior office experience and the ability to learn and work independently. Office sub jobs follow the school schedule. Great opportunity! Many subs become permanent employees. Looking to hire and start asap this school year! The position would automatically carry-over into next school year. Local resident without another job already is preferred. To broaden your sub jobs opportunities, great if you are also interested in subbing as Campus Supervisor (5hr shifts $17.42/hr) and/or Sp Ed Paraeducator (6hr shifts $19.99/hr) in addition to Office Asst subbing.

Training and Experience: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by or including courses in typing and office practices; one year of recent experience in a clerical position; six months experience working with children and/or adults in a position demanding a high level of continual inter-personal relations (volunteer youth work, office in community organizations, etc.); or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
