Per Diem Outpatient Staff Pharmacist in Frisco, CO

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem retail pharmacist position is available, focusing on outpatient and clinic pharmacy services in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a licensed Colorado pharmacist with at least one year of recent retail experience, providing expert dispensing and patient counseling to ensure optimal medication use.

Schedule:

June 3rd - 4th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
June 24th - 26th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Frisco, CO

Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Provide exceptional customer service in a retail pharmacy setting

Qualifications:

Current Colorado pharmacist license
Minimum of one year recent retail pharmacy experience
Strong knowledge of outpatient and clinic pharmacy operations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
