Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Every Other Weekend

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Med Surg experience
• Active Illinois nursing license
• ACLS certification (AHA) required within 30 days of start
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery.
• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift.
• Ensure consistent, effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to best practices and safety protocols in patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Handle patient documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
