General Description

As a Senior Analyst - Planning and Financial Analysis on the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to management, working closely with the team leader and business partners. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading financial analyses and communicating actionable recommendations to management within a global supply chain organization. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with business partners across the organization and providing accurate and timely financial information to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, senior leadership, and business partners.

Specific Responsibilities

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the following processes:

• Serving as the primary business partner for all financial matters related to the supply chain of their business unit;
• Publishing and presenting financial results, supporting monthly financial planning activities;
• Working with your unit to implement the plans necessary to meet financial objectives and various financial performance metrics;
• Supporting and collaborating closely with the business unit to present and monitor the economic impact of purchase price fluctuations during ongoing or upcoming negotiations within the long-term strategic plan;
• Ensuring the maintenance of internal controls with the business unit;
• Participating in digital transformation projects as a super-user;
• Supporting strategic decisions in negotiations with the business unit's various suppliers by providing the required and relevant financial analyses;
• Supporting ad hoc analyses requested by management.

Required Qualifications

In this role, the candidate will need:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a business unit accounting role at a large or medium-sized company; equivalent experience at an accounting firm will be considered;
• CPA certification required;
• Oral and written communication skills in English and French;
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP is a plus;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Adaptability, independence, and a calm, positive attitude.
