Trust and Estate Paralegal Key Responsibilities & Duties Prepare probate filings for Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia jurisdictions. Assist in estate and trust administration, including asset transfers and sales. Draft and file Federal and State estate tax returns accurately. Manage estate and trust administration timelines and deliverables. Collaborate with clients and professionals to ensure smooth administration processes. Utilize software tools for estate accounting and documentation preparation. Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Trust and Estate Paralegal Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate, trusts, and probate administration. Proficiency in probate-specific software, such as GEMS, EVP, and iManage. Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and professional interactions. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Understanding of estate and income tax concepts preferred.
