Responsibilities Coral Shores Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Licensed Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! Coral Shores Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a beautiful 80-bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility located in sunny Stuart, Florida. For more information about Coral Shores Behavioral Health, please visit Position Summary The IOP Therapist PRN performs clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills, an optimal level of emotional health. This includes providing basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. The therapist provides a variety of psychotherapeutic services, including family and individual therapy (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric behavioral health center setting. Patients may have co‑occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders and other behavioral disorders. Schedule: PRN Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited school in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent. Experience: One (1) year of experience working in a Behavioral Health Center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children treating co‑occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with an understanding of co‑occurring disorders and cultural‑linguistic diversity among patients. Licensure: Licensed in FL – LMHC or LCSW, Registered Intern. CPR certification.
