POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Sales Manager provides first line supervision for Maintenance Sales Representatives (MSRs). As a sales leader, this person coaches and develops each team member to ensure that cultural and performance standards are met.

Our Maintenance Sales team is responsible for new business development, bringing new accounts into the organization through consultative selling skills. This team sells annual service and maintenance agreements to commercial and industrial facilities to extend the life of their systems and reduce energy consumption and spend.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience with proven success
• Demonstrated B2B new business development experience
• 5+ years of experience selling services, service agreements, or contracts
• Previous sales leadership experience preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company's insurance provider

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:

• Hiring and onboarding new Maintenance Sales Representatives (MSRs) for the Denver region.
• Working with each direct report to co-author a written Associate Development Plan (ADP) to foster continuous improvement
• Conducting annual performance evaluations for assigned personnel and following-up regularly regarding progress toward identified ADP goals
• Using sales software (Salesforce, Atlas, and Quadra) with a high level of proficiency; especially with 1st appointment tracking, prospecting campaigns, pipeline management, automated workflows, closing out assigned cases, and pricing CM, PM, and CS agreements accurately
• Training team members in use of sales software and to become fully qualified in all steps of the sales cycle - and holding them accountable for adoption and consistent usage
• Executing annual sales plans
• Demonstrating leadership in strategic sales; including use of Challenger selling concepts, Gap Selling principles, financing, bundled solutions, etc
• Maintaining knowledge and insights into the Denver Market; including vertical markets, macroeconomic factors, competition, etc
• Demonstrating the ability to build and maintain long term business relationships that lead to future maintenance opportunities
• Collaborating and communicating with GM's and operational leaders in the Denver market

COMPENSATION:

Base Salary $125,000-$150,000 annually depending on proven experience/proficiency + uncapped commission + monthly car allowance (Year 1 On Target Earnings: $250,000 +)
