Overview Sentara is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother Baby unit at Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA. This full‑time position requires compassion and patience for providing special care to new moms and infants. A sign‑on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered for qualified candidates. The unit is a 30‑bed Postpartum Mother‑Baby Unit where nurses assess patients, ensure proper healing, provide self‑care education, encourage rooming, and manage newborn care—including assessment, cleaning, feeding, and swaddling.
