Accounting Manager

We're partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, supervise a team, and serve as a key liaison between accounting, leadership, and ownership. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong financial accountant looking to step into a highly visible leadership role where you'll have real influence across the business. What You'll Do Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation Supervise and develop two Senior Accountants Provide oversight to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting Partner with executive leadership on accounting and operational initiatives Prepare reporting and analyses for private equity ownership Translate financial results into clear, business-friendly insights for non-accounting stakeholders Support audits, process improvements, and internal control initiatives Help build scalable accounting processes to support continued growth What We're Looking For Active CPA license required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior Big4 or Private Equity experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of financial accounting and month-end close Experience reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements Advanced Excel skills Excellent communication and executive presence Why This Opportunity?
