Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive examinations and detailed medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Offer vital intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety and positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care, managing medication, wound care, discharge processes, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
