IT Analyst MultiSite Manufacturing

Job Description Position Purpose: The IT Analyst is responsible for the day to day IM administration and support of Buffalo Grove site as part of the IM organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide first-line IT support by actively monitoring and responding to tickets with urgency and prioritization Deliver hands‑on and remote support for end users across office and production environments Support multi‑site operations (Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Ravenswood) Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues Manage incidents and service requests through resolution with strong time management Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to drive issues to resolution Assist with local IT projects (deployments, upgrades, site initiatives) Create and maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articles Train and support end users through 1:1 sessions and group training Ownership of project through life cycle TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Active Directory /Windows / Microsoft 365 support Dell laptop/desktop hardware troubleshooting and deployment Network and printer support Software installation and deployment tools Basic networking knowledge (LAN vs WLAN, client vs server) Video conferencing systems support Strong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment Hands‑on problem solver who takes ownership through resolution Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where production is critical Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and across teams QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years IT support / help desk experience Experience supporting multi‑site environment ACUC User Account Management, unlocking accounts, resetting passwords Support Microsoft OS, Office software PC diagnostics and desktop deployments (DELL Laptop/Desktop Hardware Support Experience) Printer and peripheral devices installation and maintenance (XEROX, HP, Network Printers) Software installation via media or deployment software Identify wLAN vs LAN and Client vs Server related issues effectively Video Conference equipment support Demonstrable customer service expertise (Prioritize, Time Management, and Escalation of tickets) Structured, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities Effective verbal, presentation, written and listening communication skills Reliable transportation (required for site travel) Manufacturing experience or MSP level support WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Fast, effective ticket resolution with minimal escalation Strong relationships with end users and site leadership Proactive identification of recurring issues and improvements Reliable support for production‑critical systems PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in a virtual environment Microsoft back and front office suite certification College degree preferred PAY RANGE: $60,000 - $80,000 USD Salary All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
