Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level M&A associate with 4-8 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, emphasizing private equity-driven transactions. Duties Represent clients in complex corporate M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures. Draft, negotiate, and communicate effectively throughout the transaction lifecycle. Manage multiple workstreams and interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and deal teams. Engage in business development and build long-term client relationships. Requirements Substantial experience in complex corporate M&A transactions. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience managing multiple workstreams. Interest in business development. Education: JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications: Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located.
