Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced X-ray/Radiologic Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in their specialty and adhere to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images for medical evaluation.
• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and imaging quality.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
• Document procedures thoroughly in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including radiation safety procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NY license as a Radiologic Technologist in hand prior to submission.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in X-ray/Radiologic procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC or similar charting systems.
• Be able to complete modules related to imaging procedures, with up to 5 hours billable time.
• Be willing to float to different departments as needed.
• Possess strong attention to detail and patient communication skills.
