THE ROLE

The Receiver plays an important role in supporting Tatte’s bakery operations by ensuring ingredients, packaging, and supplies are received, stored, inventoried, and distributed accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for maintaining organized storage areas, supporting inventory management processes, and helping ensure bakery and café teams have the products they need to succeed.

Successful candidates are detail oriented, organized, safety focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced production environment. The Receiver must be a strong communicator, dependable team player, and possess a clean driving record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, verify, inspect, and record incoming deliveries for quality and accuracy
• Maintain inventory levels and perform inventory counts as needed
• Maintain FIFO practices and accurately track waste
• Enter inventory information into CrunchTime
• Support ordering and inventory management of ingredients, packaging, smallwares, and office supplies
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, and Department of Health standards in all storage areas
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
• Communicate effectively with bakery managers, café managers, team members, and vendors
• Assist bakery managers and supervisors with production support as needed
• Drive and operate a refrigerated delivery truck as needed
• Load and unload products for distribution to cafés
• Maintain timely and professional email communication
• Support company policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and manipulate up to 50 pounds
• Ability to grasp and reach overhead
• Availability to occasionally work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to safely perform all essential job functions consistent with applicable federal, state, and local requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Proficient data entry skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Desire to work as part of a team and assist where needed

Preferred

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Experience in food production, warehouse, receiving, or distribution environments
• Experience with CrunchTime
