Marine (Boat) TechnicianTulsa, OkPut Your Technical Skills to Work on the WaterRon Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for a skilled Marine/Boat Technician who knows their way around boats, engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics, or has the mechanical ability and drive to learn.From routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting and repair, our Technicians help make sure our customers can spend less time dealing with problems and more time on the water.What You'll DoDiagnose, service, maintain, and repair boats, motors, and marine systemsPerform routine maintenance and scheduled servicesDiagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, steering, and related system concernsRepair and service outboard engines and related componentsUse diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to troubleshoot problemsComplete warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair workInstall marine accessories, electronics, and equipmentInspect boats and identify additional repair or maintenance needsDocument repairs, parts needs, diagnostic findings, and work performed accuratelyCommunicate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and additional concernsFollow manufacturer procedures, Company processes, and safety requirementsMaintain tools, equipment, and an organized work areaPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the department and CompanyWhat We're Looking ForPrevious marine, automotive, powersports, diesel, small-engine, or related mechanical experience preferredStrong mechanical and diagnostic abilityExperience with outboard engines is a plusUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and manage assigned repairsManufacturer certifications or technical training are a plusAbility to meet the physical demands of the positionValid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive payMedical, dental, and vision insuranceSupplemental insurance optionsPaid time offEmployee discountsOpportunities for technical training, certifications, development, and advancementA stable, growing company with more than 35 years in the RV and marine industryAbout Ron Hoover RV & Marine CentersRon Hoover RV & Marine Centers is a family-owned and operated company that has been serving customers since 1987.
