OBGYN Generalist

OBGYN Opportunity - Established Practice | Central Valley, CA (1 Hour North of San Francisco)

A well-established and highly respected obstetrics and gynecology group in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking three generalist OB/GYN physicians to join their growing practice. The group currently consists of four OB/GYN physicians and three advanced practice providers. While the practice operates out of multiple office locations, new physicians will work out of a single office.

The Position

• Generalist OB/GYN role in an active surgical practice with a strong focus on minimally invasive surgery, including robotics, laparoscopy, and all major GYN surgical procedures

• Group performs approximately eight robotic cases per week, with physicians scrubbing together in a collaborative environment

• Robust office-based gynecology, including colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, gynecologic ultrasound, hysteroscopy, LEEP, D&C, cystoscopy, and more

• OB call is optional: the hospital maintains in-house laborist coverage, so physicians are not required to take OB call or perform deliveries - though those who wish to can participate in deliveries and receive a portion of the delivery fee, offering a meaningful opportunity to increase income (group previously averaged 10-12 deliveries per month per physician)

• Call is lifestyle-friendly, averaging once per week and taken from home

• Strong commitment to mentorship, with opportunities for leadership and growth within the practice

Clinical Facilities
The affiliated hospital is a full-service facility featuring a Level III nursery with all services in-house, including anesthesia and neonatal care, as well as visiting subspecialty oncology coverage.

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed salary starting in the $400,000 range, commensurate with experience, with annual increases over a four-year contract term
