Role Description The CDL A Truck Driver role is a full-time, remote position, meaning drivers are dispatched from their home location to operate across assigned routes. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely operating a CDL A commercial vehicle, following all DOT regulations and company policies, and maintaining on-time deliveries and pick-ups. Drivers will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loads, manage logs and electronic logging devices (ELDs), and communicate with dispatch and recruiters as needed. The role may involve regional or long-haul routes, depending on experience and preferences, with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, and dependable service to customers.
Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and compliance with all DOT requirements.
• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, with strong skills in safe driving, backing, and maneuvering in varied road and weather conditions.
• Ability to complete accurate logs, inspections, and basic paperwork, including use of ELD systems and mobile dispatch tools.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with dispatchers, recruiters, customers, and other drivers.
• Reliable time management and route planning skills, with the ability to follow schedules while maintaining safety standards.
• Commitment to safety, adherence to company policies, and consistent use of defensive driving practices.
• Ability to work independently on the road, problem-solve during trips, and manage rest breaks in line with hours-of-service regulations.
• Preferred: Experience with regional or OTR routes, stable work history, and familiarity with different trailer types and freight securement methods.
