Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Community Health Center | Providence, RI | $135,000–$140,000 + Loan Repayment

A respected Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join its outpatient primary care team in Providence. This opportunity is ideal for an FNP who is passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality care to underserved communities while enjoying excellent benefits and long-term career stability.

J ob Summary

The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan in a collaborative outpatient setting. You'll work alongside physicians and clinical support staff in a mission-driven environment focused on whole-person care.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $135,000–$145,000
240 hours PTO

40 hours CME + $2,500 reimbursement

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Perform wellness exams and preventive care visits
Manage treatment plans and coordinate referrals
Maintain thorough EMR documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required
Active or eligible Rhode Island NP license
DEA certification or ability to obtain
Experience in primary care, family medicine, or community health preferred
Commitment to serving diverse and underserved patient populations
