Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses Act as a leader in optical acumen Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions Use technology accurately, despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and tool usage Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, and drive solutions Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time amid competing priorities Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies Take pride in store appearance; help keep store clean, attractive, and organized Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices Be resourceful, self‑motivated, with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent State licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder Knowledge of current store merchandise Strong basic math skills Awareness of current fashion trends Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators Embrace new technology and change Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience EssilorLuxottica complies with all applicable laws related to the application and hiring process.
