School Bus Driver

Overview SAR Academy, a Modern Orthodox, co-educational day school in Riverdale, NY, is seeking an experienced School Bus Driver to join our team beginning April 2026. Responsibilities This is a 10 month position (September - June) Follows Academic Calendar Weekdays Only Split Shifts (AM and PM Routes) Report to the bus in Riverdale (Bronx) by 6:00 AM Guaranteed 40 Hours per week Requirements Prior experience driving a large school bus Valid CDL Class B with Air Brake and School Bus Endorsements Article 19-A Compliant English Speaking Compensation $31.70 per hour (Equates to $52,000 annual salary for September - June) $7,500 Bonus for experienced candidates $1,500 upon hire $6,000 paid quarterly during 2026-2027 school year Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance options 401(k) with employer contributions starting in year 2 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off About SAR SAR Academy is a Modern Orthodox co-educational nursery through grade 8 day school located in Riverdale, NY.
