Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct general ledger account reconciliations including verification of proper classification, cut-off, accuracy, and completeness and preparing journal entries
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and meet internal deadlines
- Assist in providing schedules and information needed for financial reporting and internal/external audit
- Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting.
- 2-4+ years of experience in Big 4 or publicly traded company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software's (NetSuite) is a plus.
- CPA in progress or CPA license is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Experience in preparation and analysis of financial data.
