About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Ohio

Schedule: 24 hour shifts only

Setting: Freestanding emergency department

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine coverage in a freestanding emergency department environment
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute conditions
• Document care in an electronic medical record

Facility Highlights

• Approximately 8,000 annual visits
• On site CT, X ray, ultrasound, and lab with stabilize and transfer capability

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified or board eligible as outlined in the order requirements
• Active unrestricted Ohio license and DEA required prior to start
• Required life support certifications as outlined in the order requirements
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing timeframe is typically approximately 90 to 120 days
• Orientation and training may be required prior to independent coverage
