Pre-Sort Assistant - Monthly Gig Work (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Schedule: 1st Monday of every month, 5:00am-1:00pm (possible 2nd day depending on volume)

Assignment Length: 1-2 days each month starting July 6

Our client in Hermon is hiring a Pre-Sort Assistant to support their monthly mail processing operation. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible gig work that fits easily into another job or schedule. This position pays $16/hr and is a short-term, recurring monthly assignment .

This is a fast-paced, physical role ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want the option to commit to one day or return month after month . Apply today!

Typical daily duties:

Sorting large volumes of mail
Standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift
Lifting mail trays (up to 40 lbs) and loading mail carts
Pushing fully loaded mail carts (up to ~900 lbs)

What we're looking for:

Ability to stand and move for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with physical work including lifting, bending, and pushing carts
Trustworthy and reliable - this role involves handling federal mail
Ability to pass a background check
