Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a PTA, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to professional standards and protocols.
• Delivering hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, to facilitate patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.
• Providing education to patients and their families concerning prescribed exercises, home programs, and lifestyle modifications to optimize rehabilitation.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting findings during therapy sessions to assist the supervising therapist in adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
• Implementing trigger point therapy techniques to alleviate myofascial pain syndromes when indicated.
• Contributing to occupational health initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety and productivity.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
