Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients, analyzing their medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results with precision.
• Communicate evaluation findings and tailor treatment plans that actively involve the patient and their family in goal-setting.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting methods to each patient's unique presentation and ongoing changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care, identifying when modifications to care plans are necessary.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring all documentation is timely, accurate, and clear for future references.
• Uphold productivity expectations, maintaining an organized schedule while actively engaging in both hospital and community marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse groups of patients dealing with a variety of rehabilitation needs, ranging from sports injuries to post-operative recovery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. Candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply.
• A state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association is essential.
• Prior work experience is not necessary; we welcome new graduates as well as experienced professionals.

Preferred Experience
