Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a modern rehabilitation facility that prioritizes patient comfort and effective treatment. The clinic features well-equipped therapy rooms, a fitness area for rehabilitation exercises, and access to innovative rehabilitation technologies. Collaborating closely with a cohesive team comprising two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you'll find a supportive environment where knowledge sharing and professional growth are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.
• Deliver up to one hour of focused treatment per patient, employing various therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility, strength, and overall fitness.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement treatment interventions, maximizing patient outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs.
• Educate patients regarding their conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices, demonstrating exercises and techniques to support their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and optimize treatment plans.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Our client base primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Must hold valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your practice.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Strong manual therapy skills, with a proven ability to apply a variety of techniques effectively.
• Experience with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education.
