Work Environment

This position is an onsite role primarily within our patients' homes, allowing you to work closely with individuals in comfortable and familiar settings. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced professional schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the individualized goals and needs of patients through comprehensive evaluations and personalized care plans.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour to ensure undivided attention and quality care.
• Utilize effective non-surgical treatment methods to enhance patients' mobility and overall physical health.
• Develop and implement customized treatment strategies incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy skills, and educational resources.
• Motivate patients to actively participate in their recovery, aiming to optimize their functional capabilities and quality of life.
• Conduct regular evaluations to monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans accordingly based on patient response.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in our EMR system, ensuring compliance with company protocols and excellent record-keeping.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and injury recovery. Our typical patient population consists of individuals with private medical insurance, enabling access to an array of personalized therapies designed to meet their unique rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and experience in orthopedic care.
• Proficiency in developing individualized therapeutic exercise plans.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, for seamless documentation and workflow.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least three years of direct experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities and a comprehensive understanding of continuous care management will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
