Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to connect directly with patients in their homes and provide tailored physical therapy services. The typical schedule spans Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance for both your personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional abilities, forming a basis for treatment planning.

• Design, implement, and adjust personalized therapy programs to meet the specific needs of each patient, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and functional training, to support patient progress.

• Instruct physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and patients' families on appropriate home therapy practices, ensuring continuity of care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate records of patient progress, treatment modifications, and clinical documentation following established policies.

• Regularly participate in team meetings to discuss case management and improve treatment strategies, ensuring all team members are aligned in their approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At BodySync PT, our diverse patient population ranges from athletes recovering from sports injuries, to individuals with chronic pain conditions, to elderly patients needing post-surgical rehabilitation. You will engage with each client on a personal level, tailoring your approach and utilizing targeted interventions that cater to their unique needs and health goals.

Qualifications

• Current New York state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree program in Physical Therapy.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

• Proven expertise in implementing therapeutic techniques, with a particular focus on individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

• Proficient in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in documentation.

Preferred Experience

While applicants with 2 years of experience are the minimum requirement, we also welcome new graduates who have had hands-on clinical rotations in orthopedics to apply. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic practices would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
