BodySync PT is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Syracuse, New York. In this full-time position, you will be engaging with patients primarily in a home care setting, providing personalized orthopedic therapy services. Work Environment

The work environment is onsite specifically within our patients' homes, allowing you to provide one-on-one care tailored to individual needs in a comfortable setting. You will be part of a collaborative team that emphasizes open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule that promotes professional and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and establish customized treatment plans designed to meet each patient's unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities to aid recovery and promote mobility.

• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal healing.

• Educate patients and their families on safe practices, post-treatment care, and strategies for injury prevention.

• Work alongside orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, enhancing recovery outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence to regulatory standards and clinic protocols, using electronic health record systems.

• Keep abreast of advancements in physical therapy methodologies and engage in professional development opportunities offered by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients who may be recovering from surgeries or managing chronic conditions. This role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, focusing on rehabilitation and preventive care to help individuals regain and maintain function and mobility in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree is highly preferred.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.

• At least two years of experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting; new graduates with relevant clinical rotation experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including functional movement assessments and manual therapy skills.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate patients and families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse patient populations, particularly those with orthopedic conditions.

• Familiarity with home care practices and the ability to adapt treatment protocols to individual home environments.

• Proven track record of successful collaboration with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
