Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care for a designated caseload, coordinating effectively with physicians and the patient care team.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions and develop customized treatment plans focused on attaining specific rehabilitation goals, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Implement and supervise therapeutic interventions throughout the course of the patient's treatment journey, ensuring compliance with best practices and ethical standards.
• Utilize a range of assessment tools to evaluate functional, therapeutic, and rehabilitation statuses, playing an integral role in the collaboration of overall care strategy.
• Deliver skilled therapy services in patients' homes when required, maintaining a high standard of care in a comfortable and familiar setting.
• Educate patients and their families on the use of therapeutic devices, appliances, rehabilitation exercises, and effective therapy techniques to promote independence and recovery.
• Manage your caseload proactively, prioritize therapy goals, perform daily assessments, and oversee necessary scheduling tasks to enhance therapy outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a varied patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Our clientele includes post-operative patients, those recovering from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain conditions. Your ability to create tailored therapy plans will not only improve their physical well-being but will also empower them to make informed decisions about their health.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or willingness to obtain this certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• While experience is preferred, our team welcomes candidates who are newly graduated from their DPT programs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
