Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will work onsite within a well-equipped rehabilitation facility. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The center operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' rehabilitation needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.

• Deliver effective therapy sessions, maintaining an efficient schedule of one patient per hour, while ensuring high-quality care and attention to each individual.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.

• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using electronic medical record (EMR) software like WebPT to maintain transparency and aid in continuity of care.

• Promote a proactive approach to rehabilitation, encouraging patients to adopt healthy lifestyle practices that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall physical performance.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for your patients.

• Provide education to patients and their families about recovery processes and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.

• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient clinics is highly valued.

• Familiarity with developing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

• Comfort and proficiency in using electronic medical records and software for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
