Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of each patient, ensuring they align with best practices.
• Maintain a focus on customer service excellence, enhancing clinic efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in collaborative treatment approaches with an interdisciplinary team that may include physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient education on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs, empowering patients and their families to participate actively in the recovery process.
• Achieve utilization targets that align with organizational objectives while enhancing patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric rehabilitation cases, neurologic conditions, and sports-related injuries. You will employ a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist patients in managing pain, improving mobility, and reclaiming their quality of life. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication, complemented by strong computer literacy skills.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and their families, facilitating trust and therapeutic engagement.
• Strong commitment to community involvement and relationship-building within the Syracuse area.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
