Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the therapeutic progress and care plans for a designated group of patients, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive treatment.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, taking into account medical history and current health challenges, to create individualized therapeutic strategies that encourage goal achievement.
• Implement, adjust, and monitor treatment interventions based on ongoing evaluations, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Deliver therapeutic services directly within patients' homes, adapting care strategies to the home setting for maximum effectiveness.
• Provide education and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers regarding rehabilitation techniques, exercises, and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Manage daily caseloads, prioritize patient needs, and efficiently coordinate staffing assignments, ensuring optimal patient care and resource management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries and individuals with chronic pain syndromes. As part of a specialized team, you will deliver customized interventions to adult and pediatric patients, supporting their recovery journey and enabling them to attain better health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist, holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required, or this must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates seeking to start their careers in an impactful healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

While experience is not required, candidates with prior internships or clinical rotations in orthopedic or home health settings will be given preference. Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and patient management systems is a plus.
