Inventory Control Specialist

Conduct regular cycle counts according to the schedule and document all results accurately.

Compare physical inventory to system records (ERP or WMS) and reconcile discrepancies.

Investigate inventory variances and work with relevant departments to identify root causes.

Update inventory records in the system after counts are verified.

Assist with physical inventory counts during quarterly or annual audits.

Ensure inventory areas are organized and properly labeled for ease of counting.

Monitor and report on inventory levels, shortages, and excesses.

Follow established safety and quality procedures in all job functions.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments regarding inventory issues.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and material flow.
