Tax Associate

Job Description Job Description Premier boutique CPA firm seeking to add an associate to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years’ experience (CPA is a plus) in public accounting. Responsibilities include Preparation of all tax return types (i.e., personal, corporate, partnership, estate/trust, Gift, Not-for-profit, etc.) Prepare Payroll and Sales tax returns Prepare reports and financial analysis for clients and Partners as needed Perform various accounting analysis of general ledgers, financial statements, and similar records Perform tax and accounting research, and demonstrate critical thinking to apply recommendations Assist with IRS issues and drafting responses to governmental correspondence Assist other team member with accounting responsibilities as necessary Assist in Audit, Review and Compilation engagements Qualifications: 2-5 years of tax experience with a public accounting firm Understanding of tax concepts related to individuals, C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, estates and trusts Ability to interact and communicate with clients (written, verbal, and in person) Ability to work in a team environment Self-motivator with excellent organization skills Proficiency with CCH Axcess and Sureprep is a plus Proficiency in QuickBooks online \nCompany Description Baharestani & Ritt LLP is a full service CPA and Business Management.
