Position: Account Manager


Location: Texarkana, TX


Hours: Full time, flexible schedule based on operational needs, some overtime when required


Pay: 46K-50K annually, DOE

A local organization is seeking a motivated and outgoing Account Manager to build relationships throughout the community, develop new partnerships, and coordinate community events. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with businesses, civic organizations, schools, churches, community groups, and other organizations to increase community participation and engagement.


The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting with individuals and groups, making presentations, coordinating events, maintaining detailed records, and working toward established performance goals. Strong communication, organization, networking, and customer service skills are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Travel throughout the local community to meet with businesses, organizations, schools, churches, civic groups, and other community partners to establish and maintain relationships.
2. Identify and develop new community partnerships while maintaining positive relationships with existing contacts.
3. Coordinate community events with organizational representatives, including scheduling, logistics, communication, materials, and follow-up.
4. Provide professional written and verbal presentations to individuals and groups to promote organizational programs, services, and community initiatives.
5. Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly contacts, activities, events, and follow-up efforts.
6. Work closely with community partners to coordinate successful events and provide necessary information and materials in advance.
7. Communicate with internal management and team members regarding event logistics, potential concerns, scheduling needs, travel routes, parking, and other relevant details.
8. Assist with the development and implementation of special community outreach campaigns throughout the year and during periods of increased organizational need.
9. Consistently meet or exceed established daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance goals.
10. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, safety meetings, and other organizational meetings as required.
11. Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service while meeting or exceeding the expectations of community partners and the public.
12. Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication to support organizational and departmental goals.
13. Represent the organization's mission and values through professional conduct, decision-making, and interactions with the community.
14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
