FOH Shift Leader

Position Summary Leads daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient team performance, and adherence to company standards. Acts as the manager-on-duty in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support team members during shifts Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate customer service Open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling and register counts Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation standards Assign tasks and manage workflow to maintain efficiency during peak hours Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance Ensure supplies are properly restocked throughout the day Communicate with management regarding performance, issues, or staffing needs Required Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving and decision-making skills Basic math and cash-handling accuracy Preferred Qualifications 1–2+ years of experience in food service or hospitality Previous supervisory or leadership experience Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant operations Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Work Environment Fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting Standing and walking for extended periods Occasional lifting (up to 25–45 lbs) Exposure to kitchen equipment and food preparation areas #J-18808-Ljbffr Harri.com
