Coastal Plus Medical Center, a thriving full-service medical center in Jacksonville, FL, is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Care Physician (MD/D.O.) to join our compassionate and collaborative team in a part time capacity.

At Coastal Plus, we are committed to providing the highest standard of comprehensive healthcare, focusing on treating the patient holistically, not just the condition. We offer a wide spectrum of services including Family Medicine, Primary Care, Adult Care (No pediatrics) In addition we offer Chiropractic Care, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Physical Therapy.

As a Primary Care Physician at Coastal Plus, you will be a central figure in our patients' health journeys, building long-term relationships and guiding them through a comprehensive approach to wellness. No weekend or after hour coverage required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions for adult patients of all ages.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations, obtain detailed medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, digital x-rays).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Emphasize preventive care, including annual check-ups, immunizations, health screenings, and patient education on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and other healthcare professionals, facilitating referrals as needed to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Strong clinical diagnostic skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
• Must have Florida License
• Active DEA License
