Are you looking for a steady warehouse job with opportunities to learn new skills and grow? We're hiring a Forklift Operator to join our 1st Shift team.

In this role, you'll help move products throughout a large distribution center, load and unload trailers, and make sure shipments are accurate and arrive at the right destination. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and enjoy staying active, we'd love to hear from you.

No forklift certification? No problem. Training and certification are provided.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and trailers

• Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse

• Use a handheld scanner to track products and inventory

• Stage materials for shipping and receiving

• Verify products and shipments for accuracy

• Ensure products are loaded to the correct destination

• Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe

• Follow all company safety procedures

• Work with team members to meet daily goals

• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• 3-6 months of warehouse experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds when needed

• Comfortable operating equipment and working in a warehouse environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to work safely and follow instructions

• Willingness to work overtime when required

• Team-oriented attitude

Bonus Points If You Have

• Previous forklift experience

• Forklift certification

• Shipping and receiving experience

• RF scanner experience

• Material handling or inventory experience

• Distribution center experience

Work Environment

You'll work in a large distribution center that handles a variety of products and shipments. This is an active position that requires operating a forklift, moving materials, and working closely with a team to ensure orders are shipped accurately.

Schedule & Requirements

• Overtime available and occasionally required

• Active warehouse environment

• Forklift operation throughout much of the shift

• Lift up to 75 pounds as needed

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
