Billing Analyst

Billing Support AnalystPay Range - $55- $60/hrKey ResponsibilitiesSupport a customer service line for billing-related inquiries from government customers.Explain billing charges, review invoices, and help customers understand their bills.Open, track, investigate, and help resolve billing disputes.Provide customer updates within 24 hours of inquiry receipt and continue status updates until closure.Reset passwords, help with account access, and guide customers on use of the online billing application.Learn and navigate multiple billing systems and backend tools.Research billing issues, identify root causes, and determine appropriate fixes or escalation paths.Manage disputes from intake through resolution, including coordination with downstream teams when needed.Review and work from large Excel files, including high-volume billing data and upload/error correction workflows.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong customer service and phone communication skills.Strong analytical and finance-oriented problem-solving skills.Experience handling billing, invoicing, disputes, or account-related support.Ability to work with sensitive/confidential customer information.Experience working with large enterprise-level datasets and Excel workbooks with thousands of rows.Ability to learn new systems quickly and follow process-heavy workflows.Comfortable supporting professional/government customers across varied communication styles.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
