CNC Swiss/Grinding and Milling Machinist — High‑Tolerance Aerospace

The Opportunity Our client has several openings for CNC Machinist, EDM. You'll set up and operate CNC EDM equipment, with occasional support for grind operations, and keep machines properly tooled and maintained. Shifts available Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Weekends (Fri–Sun): 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM What you'll do Set up and operate CNC EDM machines — sinker, wire, or popper. Machine and test parts to engineering and customer specifications. Inspect/test parts against manufacturing standards and blueprint specs; check visually for burrs or surface damage. Maintain accurate part ID and documentation per planning specs. Communicate shift-change info clearly to the next team. Perform routine TPM on equipment. Follow safety rules, quality procedures, and company policy; maintain a clean, organized 6S work area. Keep materials and parts flowing through the cell. What You Bring High school diploma or GED 2–5 years of experience with wire or sinker EDMs (GD&T experience required) Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls a plus Ability to read/interpret blueprints, planning docs, and manufacturing specs Comfortable multitasking in a team environment Physical: lift 50 lbs (4\"–25\"), push/pull 60 lbs, grip strength ≥50 lbs, reach above shoulder (65\") U.S. citizenship required Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed Compensation & Benefits $25–$37.50/hr plus shift premiums Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, educational assistance You should be proficient in GD&T CNC Machine Setup & Changeover Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement Machines & technologies you'll use EDM Machine (Wire) #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
