Key Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with students who have autism and/or intellectual delays preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and support personnel Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student-centered teaching Core Duties: Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs in a middle school setting Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment tailored to individual needs Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educational staff to implement best practices and achieve student goals Adapt curriculum and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Maintain accurate student records and progress reports Communicate consistently with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding student performance and strategies for success Work Schedule & Contract Details: Full-time, school-year position Hours: 7:15 AM – 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday This is an exceptional opportunity for dedicated educators passionate about supporting students with unique learning profiles.
