The Role
- Deliver comprehensive small animal care across wellness, sick-patient visits, and same-day urgent cases during business hours
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry within a well-equipped surgical suite
- Utilize in-house lab and digital imaging for efficient diagnostics and case workups
- Triage and stabilize urgent and life-threatening cases during practice hours with access to oxygen and monitoring support
- Partner with an experienced support team (approximately three team members per doctor) to optimize workflow and client communication
- Typical daily caseload can be tailored (about 13-20 patients per day) to match clinical interests and preferred pace
- Contribute to client education, community engagement, and occasional promotional initiatives

Requirements
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility), as applicable
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach
- Comfort with general practice and interest in urgent care; experience in soft-tissue surgery and dentistry is a plus
