Production Line Lead

Job Description
- Assists the supervisor to safely carry out the production plan and to ensure that line efficiencies and delivery performance goals are achieved.
- Ensures that finished goods meet or exceed quality expectations.
- Assists the supervisor to maximize the use of labor in reaction to labor shortages, short production runs, mechanical malfunctions (or any other unforeseeable issue).
- Assists with Inventory Management, cycle counting
- Assists the supervisor with employee training
- Coordinates line set ups and tear down.
- Prepares pallet tags, labels and other documentation.
- Maintains a clean and orderly production area
- Records information on production performance
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Responsible for food safety and product integrity
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production operations.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Ability to react quickly to unforeseeable circumstances
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
