Commercial Ops Analyst

Commercial Operations AnalystRequired Skills & ExperienceDevelop, maintain, and analyze commercial KPIs across Sales, Strategic Accounts, New Business Development, Marketing, Customer Experience, Innovation, and New Product Launch.Analyze revenue, profitability, pricing, product mix, customer performance, pricing trends, margins, inflation impacts, and cost drivers, and pipeline trends.Identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends impacting commercial performance.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews through meaningful reporting and analysis.Develop standardized reporting tools that improve visibility across the Commercial organization including pricing models and profitability analyses.Develop presentations supporting strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, customer reviews, and investment decisions.Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and executive-level presentation quality.Support customer pricing proposals and commercial negotiations.Assist with development of customer quotations and commercial proposals.Support the S&OP process with monthly pipeline and forecast data.Support annual operating planning and commercial budgeting.Minimum Requirements of the JobBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline required.MBA or advanced analytics certification preferred.5–7 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Analytics, Sales Operations, or Commercial Operations.Experience supporting commercial organizations through analytics and reporting.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.Experience developing executive presentations and dashboards.Experience supporting pricing and customer profitability analysis.Manufacturing experience preferred.Job DescriptionThe Commercial Operations Analyst serves as the analytical partner to the Commercial organization, providing financial insights, reporting, commercial analytics, and operational support that drive strategic decision-making and business growth. Working at the intersection of Finance and Commercial, this role supports Sales, Strategic Accounts, New Business Development, Strategic Marketing & Innovation and New Product Launch by delivering meaningful business analytics, developing executive reporting, supporting pricing and quoting activities, and identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance.The Analyst transforms complex business data into actionable insights, helping leadership evaluate customer profitability, pricing strategies, pipeline performance, product launches, marketing effectiveness, and overall commercial performance. This role also plays a key part in preparing executive and Board-level presentations, ensuring leadership has clear, accurate, and meaningful information to support strategic decisions.
