Technical Support Specialist POST NUMBER: 483246

Vaco Technology is currently recruiting for a Tier 2 Help Desk Specialist for a full-time role located on the north side of Indianapolis.  This is a 100% on-site role, Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm. The team supports multiple locations, users, applications, and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, and network hardware/software issues
• Provide in-person, phone, email, and ticket-based support
• Escalate urgent issues as needed
• Stay current on system updates across servers, applications, and desktops
• Participate in on-call IT support
• Monitor and respond to any major security issues that may take place

Requirements

• 3  years of systems support (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016 )
• Hands-on hardware support (desktops, servers, laptops, printers)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with virtualization (preferred)
• Active Directory and Group Policy experience
• Microsoft Azure (Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot)
• Knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft Server, Cisco, VMware) preferred
