Export Coordinator

Location: Mobile, AL, Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC Work Schedule: Onsite Monday-Friday Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the end-to-end export process, including order processing, scheduling shipments, and tracking from origin to destination. Prepare, review, and process export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export declarations, and other required paperwork. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, export controls, and any relevant government agency rules (e.g., filing AES in the US if applicable). Book cargo space with carriers (ocean shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, or freight forwarders) and arrange transportation logistics. Track and monitor shipments in transit, resolve issues or delays, and provide updates to customers and stakeholders. Manage billing and invoicing for assigned export files, ensuring all charges are accurate and processed in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. Handle customer inquiries, provide status updates, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction regarding shipment timelines and delivery. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with export and import documentation software/tools is a plus (Descartes). Ocean import/export experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of Export and/or related field preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
