Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical AssemblerWe are seeking dedicated mechanical assemblers with basic assembly experience to build ECU units. This role involves assembling sheet metal cabinets and installing various components such as coils, compressors, motors, blowers, and fans into the ECU. The position requires following established work instructions on a wide variety of units, working cooperatively with co-workers, and demonstrating a strong commitment to quality.1st shift - Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pmResponsibilitiesAssemble sheet metal cabinets and install components such as coils, compressors, motors, blowers, and fans into ECU units.Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.Use basic hand and power tools effectively.Measure accurately using tape measures and calipers.Install pop rivets, rivnuts, and other hardware to join sheet metal for frame construction.Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure high-quality standards are met.Essential SkillsExperience in Manufacturing AssemblyAbility to read a tape measure and use measuring devices such as calipersProficiency with basic hand and power toolsStrong mechanical assembly skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or higher educationExperience with mechanical assembly workAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to perform basic math operationsAttention to detail and strong communication skillsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
