TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Lancaster, South Carolina, 29720!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro/PCU (Stepdown)

Location

Lancaster, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro/PCU stepdown setting with a patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate care, including telemetry monitoring?
• Float within scope to meet unit needs, including like units as required
• Attend required staff meetings and complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to start date
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Neuro/PCU or comparable stepdown setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Demonstrated telemetry competency required
• No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a facility utilizing Epic for clinical documentation
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedule needs to support unit staffing requirements
• Familiarity with neurological patient populations and stepdown-level acuity
