Private Client Manager

Job Title: Private Client Manager Reports to: Client Services Director The Trust Manager is responsible for managing members of the administration team and providing technical support and training to the administrators. The Trust Manager assists with managing team members’ workloads and priorities. Key Responsibilities: Managing client relationships for retention and development, liaising with clients and advisors and developing existing relationships. All management duties to include, providing guidance, technical support and training to administrators; cover for team members; Managing time and workloads, checking their work, performance reviews and providing regular feedback. General day to day trust and company administration including client and entity database records, administration reviews and reporting. Identifying potential new areas of business, new products or services, onboarding new business and creating new introducer relationships. Ensuring and reporting chargeability and profitability within the team; Assisting with risk assessments; including collection and verification of client due diligence. Providing procedural assistance and implementing procedural changes; Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and HFL’s own policies, procedures and controls; follow all office and CFC procedures and ensure team is compliant Acting as an ‘A’ signatory. Internal audit queries; The completion of annual returns where required; Any ad hoc projects or works that contribute to the smooth running of HFL’s client servicing, efficiently and cost effectively. Personal attributes A self-starter with the ability to work independently and accurately under pressure. Excellent communication, team-work and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders. Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills are essential. Practical experience in, or demonstratable knowledge of, the financial services industry. Qualifications and expertise: STEP Qualified and/or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Fiduciary administration.
